For managers running many Google Ads accounts
Can my AI tell me if a problem is my account, or the whole market?
Not from your own account alone, no. You already paste exports into Claude, or you have tried Google's Ads MCP, and both stop at your data. AdTAO MCP adds what neither can: benchmarks from 20,000+ accounts like yours, a read of the pattern your account is in, and real before-and-after results from similar accounts, so your agent can answer market-vs-me questions and make calls you could not make from your own accounts alone. Every change is lined up for your approval first. Setups that just pass queries through give you more of your own rows. We give you the numbers to decide.

Section 01
Why does this cost money when Claude and Google's MCP are free?
Because free setups all stop at your own rows. You can paste exports into Claude, connect Google's official Ads MCP, or run a setup that passes your report queries through to the AI. Each one stops at the same wall:
- →
Claude with a pasted export fast to read back, but it works from the rows you paste in, with no way to check them against real account data and no safe way to make the change.
- →
Google's official Google Ads MCP real reads of your own accounts, read-only, with no benchmarks from accounts like yours, no record of what happened when others made a change, and no approval step before a change.
- →
A setup that passes your report queries through to the AI lets the agent run more queries and stitch the answer together over several steps, faster to automate, but still only the rows from accounts you already manage. Same blind spot.
None of those setups can answer:
- ·
"Is this a me problem or a market problem?"
- ·
"What actually happened when accounts like mine made this change?"
- ·
"What pattern is this account in, and where is it heading?"
, because those answers need years of pooled, privacy-protected advertiser data and the judgment to read it, not another pass over your own reports.

What you pay AdTAO for
|
| Claude with a pasted export | Wording and fluency, not peer benchmarks or numbers checked against real account data |
| Google Ads MCP | Your own rows, read-only; no benchmarks from accounts like yours; no record of past changes |
| Setups that pass report queries through | More tools, same single-account ceiling; the agent still does all the query work |
| AdTAO MCP This product | Benchmarks from accounts like yours, pattern intelligence, before-and-after results from real changes, one complete answer per question, and no change made until you approve it |
Claude and Google give your agent access to your own rows. AdTAO gives it judgment, the benchmarks from accounts like yours and the record of past changes you need to run a multi-account book without flying blind.
Section 02
What can my agent do here that Google's MCP can't?
Three answers that need data from accounts like yours, not another spreadsheet paste.
01
See what your own accounts can't show you alone
Google's Ads MCP hands your agent your own rows; it has no benchmarks from accounts like yours to give. Even Google's own reports show only blunt, aggregated industry numbers, never a checked set of accounts like yours that you can break down by category, geo, and structure. AdTAO draws on 20,000+ connected accounts, 1.3B+ search terms, and 35M+ placement rows, so your agent can answer market-vs-me questions, flag placements and search terms that waste money for advertisers like you before they waste yours, and spot gaps against competitors, decisions you cannot make from an export of your own accounts.
Ask your agent things like
- →
"Did my CPA spike because the market moved, or because we broke something?"
- →
"Which placements waste money in accounts like mine, before they waste mine?"
- →
"Where are competitors winning search terms I will never see in my own search terms report yet?"
02
Your account as a picture, not one spreadsheet row
AdTAO reads what your account looks like right now against hundreds of patterns drawn from 20,000+ advertisers: conversion tracking health, account structure down to ad groups and match type, Smart Bidding and bid strategy state, budget pacing and spend shape, wasted spend, and more. Each pattern is a snapshot, not a verdict. Put together with your change history and goals, your agent gets a ranked picture of what matters and what to do next, not a generic audit checklist.
03
Know what tends to happen before you approve the change
When you line up a change, AdTAO draws on real before-and-after results from accounts in a similar spot, not model guesswork. If there is not enough data to answer, it says so instead of inventing a number. And unlike read-only or paste-in setups, AdTAO can make the approved change for you: lined up first, made only on your say-so, so you skip the manual trip back into the Google Ads UI. The final approval is always yours.
Section 03
How do I know this is better, and not just a claim?
Five real manager prompts. Four setups. Same model. You can run them yourself.
We don't ask you to trust a tagline. We run five real manager prompts, each with a catch that trips up the other setups we tested, pasted exports, Google's official Ads MCP, and query-passing setups, then score every answer the same way: a check for made-up numbers, a second AI that scores every answer (run twice to be sure it agrees with itself), and safety on "make this change now" prompts.
Each prompt hides a real-world catch: broken conversion tracking, bulk changes on accounts that shouldn't get them, a niche benchmark that doesn't exist, campaigns still in their learning period. AdTAO handles these differently: it lines up the change and waits for your approval instead of blind execution or hand edits; it says "not enough data" instead of inventing an "industry range"; and it returns one complete answer instead of six separate queries stitched together.
Run date published. Method published. Caveats published. Our scores came from a controlled run on internal test accounts (we don't share those accounts, so you can't reproduce our exact numbers). What you can do is rerun the same five prompts on your Google Ads book and judge safety, honesty, and speed yourself.

What we measured
|
AdTAO MCP
|
Others (typical)
|
| Outcome on "make this change" prompts | lined up for your approval, then made for you | advice only, no way to make the change, no approval step |
| When there was no data to answer | says "not enough data" instead of inventing a benchmark | the AI invents a confident range |
| Median time to an answer | ~3.5 s | ~6 s for Claude on its own |
| Made-up numbers (fewer is better) | fewest in the run | most: Claude with no account connection |
A single run, and 5 of the 36 prompts we're building are published so far. One Google MCP setup ran without a login, so its timings are slower than real, we keep the full per-setup timings on the comparison page with that note attached rather than show them here. Exact per-setup made-up-number counts publish with the next run, alongside the raw transcripts.
Challenge
Run the test. Challenge us.
Run our five published prompts on your accounts, AdTAO MCP against whatever you use today. If AdTAO doesn't win on the prompts where there's a clear winner, email mcp-challenge@adtao.io with the evidence. For any clear failure we can confirm, wrong data, wrong Google Ads facts, or a plainly worse recommendation, we'll apply account credit equal to one month on your current plan.

Our principles
Principle
You approve every change
Every change is lined up for your approval before anything is sent to Google Ads.
Principle
Honest about limits
When Google Ads can't do something, or the data is thin, we say so.
Principle
Backed by real account data
Answers use benchmarks from accounts like yours and pattern intelligence; when the data is thin, we say so instead of inventing a number.
