Which answers can AdTAO give that a single-account login cannot?
Two of them, and we checked both on the live server on 2026-07-12. First: which Display websites are burning money across a whole industry, scored from $55.4M of real ad spend across many unrelated advertisers, not from your one account. Second: what search terms are actually working for accounts like yours, with real spend and conversions behind each one. Any other Google Ads MCP or AI setup has a login to one account, so it can read that account and nothing else. On plain single-account reads every setup ties, and we say so below. AdTAO is also the only one of these setups that can make a change, and every change waits for your approval first.
Measured on real advertiser accounts, anonymised. Amounts shown as [amount] where they identify an account. This run replaces the old speed numbers below, which came from test data.

The answer that only AdTAO can give
Answers no single-account login can reach
These are not speed wins. They are answers that a Google Ads login to one account cannot return, no matter how good the AI is, because they are built from data across many unrelated advertisers. That data does not live inside your account, so a setup that can only see your account cannot produce it. This is worth real money to a client account: it stops you excluding a website, or blocking a search term, that quietly earns for advertisers like you.
Answer 1 · Which Display websites waste money across the industry · checked live 2026-07-12
- Websites scored
- 436,765 websites your Display ads could appear on, each scored for wasted-spend risk
- Ad spend behind it
- 465M impressions, 9.8M clicks, and $55.4M of Display spend across many unrelated advertisers
- What you get back
- A risk score per website, a safety bucket, and the individual pages inside each site
- Checked live
- Overview to most-expensive websites to page-level detail, all in one session
Ask "which Display placements are burning money across my industry?" An AI with no account access can only guess, and a setup with a login to one account sees only that account. AdTAO answers from 436,765 scored websites, and shows the spend and clicks behind the score. Next step: take the highest-risk websites into your placement exclusion list in the Google Ads UI (Content, then Placements, then Exclusions).
Answer 2 · What search terms work for accounts like yours · checked live 2026-07-12
- What we asked
- One industry category (personal care, barber shops)
- What came back
- Search patterns from across the connected network with real numbers, e.g. "hair transplant [location]": $15,141 spend, 171 conversions, seen across 20 advertisers
- Also live
- Where your numbers sit against accounts like yours, and a plain "not enough data to answer that" when too few advertisers are in the sample to show a figure safely
Before you add a search term to a negative keyword list, this tells you whether that same term earns money for advertisers in your category. When too few advertisers are in the sample, it says "not enough data to answer that" rather than inventing a number, so you never act on a figure we cannot stand behind.
Carried forward · Which competitors are actually advertising (June run, unchanged)
AdTAO pulled real competitor advertisers from the Google Ads Transparency Center and based its ad-copy advice on what those competitors actually run. An AI with no account access, and Google's own MCP, named zero real competitors, because they have no competitor data to name.
It can act, safely
The only setup that can make the change for you
The other setups can only read. AdTAO is the only one here that can also make the change, and nothing changes in your account until you approve it: it prepares the change, you review it, then it runs, with a record kept of what happened. Its 16 core tools were each checked on the production server in the May health check. Put plainly: on making changes safely, AdTAO can do it and none of the others can, because none of the others can act at all.
Where it is a tie
On a plain read of your own account, everyone is as good as each other
When the job is a straight read of your own account, every setup gets it right, and that is the expected result, not a loss. On this read, all three get about 100% of the facts right, with no made-up numbers, for AdTAO, a bare Claude, and a bare ChatGPT alike. Reading back your own numbers accurately is not a difference that sets one setup above another once a capable AI has the data in front of it. Where AdTAO pulls ahead is on the two answers above, which need data your account does not contain, and on making the change safely. Here is the honest picture on the read itself.
| AdTAO MCP | An AI with just a pasted export | |
|---|---|---|
| Spreadsheet you paste by hand | None. It reads your account live. | A hand-pasted export per question |
| Steps to the answer, and errors | 7 look-ups, no errors | Google's MCP: 11 look-ups, 4 failed report queries |
| How fresh the data is | Live at the moment you ask | As old as the last export |
| Speed and size of the read itself | Much slower, and it reads far more to do the work | Faster and lighter on data someone already pasted in |
An AI is cheaper and faster on data someone already gathered and pasted in for it. Gathering that data, live and checked, is what AdTAO does for you.
What is available today
70 tools are live on mcp.adtao.io: the core set, the existing read and change tools, and 24 new read tools in this release. Twenty of the new tools cover Display placements (risk insights, your current exclusions, a preview of a sync before it runs, and a suitability overlay) and four cover search terms across the connected network. The tools that make changes stay switched off for now, until the approval flow is finished.
Honest limitations
What this run does not yet show
-
The website risk data currently runs through 2026-05-08.
It is refreshed on a weekly schedule to keep the live version in step as newer spend comes in.
-
Every website in the risk data currently sits in the "safe" bucket.
For now the ranking comes from the risk score and page-name patterns, until the next scoring pass sorts the buckets further.
-
The speed and effort numbers come from one workflow, not an average.
Treat the steps-and-effort table as the shape of a single measured run, not a mean across accounts.
-
The full 36-test, 3-setup comparison is still to come.
Nothing on this page depends on it.
Method and how to check it yourself
Same AI model on every setup . Run against the live server on 2026-07-12. Scored by pass/fail scripts, so no AI opinion enters the result. You can check the two account-owned facts in your own reports: the Display placement risk work maps to your Placements report and your exclusion list, and the search-term work maps to your search terms report. The cross-account figures are our own published receipts from the live run. Account names and amounts are anonymised.
In short
The answer that only AdTAO reaches: which Display websites and search terms waste, or earn, money across accounts like yours, scored from $55.4M of real ad spend across many advertisers. That is worth money to a client account, because it stops you excluding a website or blocking a search term that quietly earns elsewhere. On a plain read of your own account, every setup ties, and we say so. AdTAO is also the only one that can make the change, and it waits for your approval every time.
